Sizing advice: Measure the neck circumference snugly against the skin using a flexible tape measure. Do not order a size up – the collar is adjustable. A collar that is too loose can slip over the head. Dog with a Mission uses its own sizing, so always measure again before ordering.

• Regular cleaning: Remove dust and dirt: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off dust and dirt daily. Deep cleaning: Occasionally, use a slightly damp cloth (not too wet) with a little mild soap, such as saddle soap. Gently wipe the leather and then clean with a fresh cloth. Let it air-dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
• Conditioning: Apply a special leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent it from drying out. This also helps avoid cracking. Do this every few months, or whenever the leather feels dry.
• Avoid moisture: Try to keep the product from getting wet. If it does get wet, blot it dry with a towel and let it air-dry naturally – away from heat sources like radiators or hair dryers, which can damage the leather.
• Storage: Store the leather collar in a cool, dry place. Keep it out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, as these can dry out and fade the leather.
• Avoid chemicals: Keep the collar away from harsh chemicals such as alcohol, perfume, or insect spray. These can damage the leather.
